Anyone using Urimon has taken note of, and agrees to, the terms and conditions below:

Terms and conditions for use of Urimon

The use of Urimon is defined by this agreement. Urimon is a study developed by You2Yourself BV (Y2Y). Y2Y is located at Colosseum 65, 7521 PP, Enschede, the Netherlands. Urimon does not offer medical advice or make a diagnosis. Data on urine and blood values, blood pressure, weight, and other relating measurements, are used, fully anonymised, for research purposes and are not used as part of any medical screening.

Participant, and if applicable physician, are responsible for proper and accurate registration data. Participant and healthcare professionals are responsible for the security of the data they use to access Urimon.

The Stichting Biobank Oost Nederland (STIBION) owns all rights to the Urimon service. Urimon provides participating healthcare providers with a personal, non-transferable and non-exclusive licence to use the Urimon service for the duration of the study. Urimon provides a participant directly, or after the attending physician creates a registration for that participant, a personal, non-transferable and non-exclusive licence to use the Urimon service.

The user of Urimon is personally responsible for the security (including good virus scanner) and integrity of the computer used to consult the website.

Urimon service

Urimon only uses certified urine collection tubes and blood tubes. Urimon has taken a range of measures to ensure safe and secure storage of data from the questionnaires. Only users with a unique username and password can use the secure website. Data is stored on computer systems that are in a highly secure environment. Urimon operates in compliance with all national and international rules on secure information transfer.

Urimon operates in accordance with standards such as ‘information security in healthcare, NEN7510, 7511 and 7512’ and standards for the secure use of passwords (NEN12251). Only the participant, treating physicians and the biobank administrator have access to the personal data. The participant must give Urimon explicit permission to store and make data available to third parties. Data is always provided encrypted so they cannot be traced back to the participant. Protection of privacy is explained in detail in the privacy statement.

Urimon service availability

Urimon strives for 24/7 availability of its services. To achieve this, Urimon has taken various technical measures. Urimon cannot guarantee that 24/7 availability is realised in all cases. Urimon therefore in no case accepts liability in any form for damage or injury resulting from, or arising from the use or distribution of the information of this site or arising from technical faults.

In addition to the above, on all offers, services and agreements of Urimon, as far as not contradictory to the above, the NLdigital Terms and Conditions 2020 apply, as filed with the District Court Midden Nederland, location Utrecht.
